AGLI supported by "Thrifty" Friends in VA

From AGLI - African Great Lakes Initiative:

Midlothian Friends Meeting (Midlothian, VA) has a resale shop called the Thrifty Quaker. Each month they select a charity to receive the proceeds from sales.

This March, AGLI is the recipient, and the funds will promote peacebuilding, relief, trauma healing and reconciliation efforts in East Africa (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania) and the Great Lakes region of Africa (Burundi, Rwanda, Congo).

This is a great way to reduce your consumer spending, find useful items, and support a worthy cause--all at one go! Good for you, good for the earth, and good for others in need!

The store is at 13567 Midlothian Turnpike, Midlothian, Virginia 23113.
